Organizations

Every EverySheep account belongs to an organization. Organizations represent your church or faith community and provide the context for all your data.

Creating an Organization

When you first sign up, you'll be prompted to create an organization or accept an invitation to an existing one. To create a new organization:

  1. Complete the sign-up and email verification process
  2. Follow the onboarding flow to name your organization
  3. Optionally choose a voluntary support level for your organization
  4. You'll automatically be assigned as an admin

Organization Roles

Each member of an organization has a role:

  • Admin — Full access to all settings, members, and data. Can invite new members, manage integrations, and manage your organization's support level.
  • User — Can view and manage people, groups, and notes. Cannot change organization settings or manage members.

Organization Settings

Admins can manage organization settings from Settings > Organization:

  • General — Update the organization name and details
  • Members — View current members and their roles
  • Invitations — Send and manage pending invitations
  • Integrations — Configure sync connections with external systems
  • Support EverySheep — Manage your organization's voluntary support level

Switching Organizations

If you belong to multiple organizations, you can switch between them from the sidebar. Your data and permissions are scoped to the currently active organization.

Support Levels

EverySheep is fully available to every church at no cost. Organizations can optionally choose a voluntary support level to help sustain the ministry:

  • Free — Full access to EverySheep at no cost
  • Supporter — A simple monthly support payment to help cover operating costs
  • Partner — A larger monthly support payment to help the ministry grow
  • Sustainer — Ongoing support for churches relying on EverySheep long-term

All support levels include the same product features. See Billing for more details about voluntary support.
