Invitations

Collaborate with your pastoral care team by inviting them to your EverySheep organization.

Sending Invitations

Organization admins can invite new team members:

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > Invitations
  2. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
  3. Select their role (admin or user)
  4. Send the invitation

The invitee will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation.

Accepting an Invitation

When you receive an invitation:

  1. Click the invitation link in your email
  2. If you already have an EverySheep account, sign in to accept
  3. If you're new, create an account and the invitation will be applied automatically

After accepting, you'll have access to the organization's data based on your assigned role.

Managing Invitations

From the invitations page, admins can:

  • View pending invitations — See who has been invited but hasn't accepted yet
  • Revoke invitations — Cancel a pending invitation before it's accepted

Roles and Permissions

When inviting someone, choose their role carefully:

  • Admin — Can manage all organization settings, invite others, configure integrations, and manage billing
  • User — Can view and manage people, groups, and notes, but cannot change organization-level settings

Roles can be changed later by an admin from the organization members page.
